Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager plays a vital role in the University of Phoenix (UOPX) Integrated Brand Marketing department and collaborates across functional teams to develop and execute compelling demand generation campaigns that drive revenue and conversion opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates across marketing to develop and execute integrated digital marketing to include prospecting, remarketing and paid social. Position is also responsible for working with in-house creative team to develop marketing materials to support for ‘Always On’ evergreen programs. Incumbent will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams across the marketing organization in order to drive performance, deliver KPIs and ensure effective use of funds to optimize and maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Work closely and partner with the Media Center of Excellence, Integrated Marketing, Creative, Marketing Operations, Social, website/ecommerce groups within UOPX marketing to execute marketing strategies and plans; leverage best-practice expertise to recommend and implement most efficient and effective media mix to achieve the desired marketing objectives.
  • Provide creative development oversight to ensure alignment and continuity of integrated campaign and always on tactics.
  • Maintain creative/marketing calendar to ensure appropriate marketing support based on marketing plan/strategy and corporate objectives.
  • Manage budgets and internal resources to maximize efficiency and optimize return on investment.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization including brand marketing, all digital marketing channel owners, operations teams, legal and finance.
  • Communicate plans and results across all key stakeholders and key leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelors degree required

• Minimum of 6 years of marketing campaign management across integrated marketing and digital


Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in matrixed performance driven environment
  • Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience
  • Prior Ad Agency experience a BIG plus
  • 2+ years managing digital marketing programs
  • Strong understanding of digital media landscape across programmatic, social, remarketing and digital video
  • Track record of influencing and directing strong creative across various online and offline tactics
  • Excellent analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to dig into data to mine actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication skills with proven ability to well with others to maintain and build cross-functional (internal and external) relationships including agency partners, internal clients and leadership team
  • A collaborative individual with ability to lead thru influence and inspire team members
  • Ability to work in matrixed performance driven environment and comfortable with ambiguity and change
  • Willing to be part of a purpose driven and enthusiastic team focused on changing people’s lives thru education
